Easter!

It's almost time - Easter is everywhere in the retail stores.

 It is one of my husband's favourite times of the year. Not only because he is a Christian but because he loves those marshmallow Easter eggs.

These marshmallow eggs remind us of the Trinity. The three different layers resembling God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. You can't leave one of these layers out if you want the perfect marshmallow egg.

Luckily Easter is not all about eggs - But about the new life in Christ.

And we can celebrate our deliverance and call on the name of the Lord!

While Jesus and the disciples were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in

pieces

and handed it to the disciples, saying,

 

"Take this and eat it. This is my body."

 

Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,

 

"Drink from it, all of you,

 

because this is my blood of the new covenant that is being poured out for many people

 for the forgiveness of sins.
