What would you do if a friend stop by 12 O'clock at night calling you and asking
for three loaves of bread? If he keep on yelling, waking the neighbours - would
you get up and give him the bread? Jesus told us that that man would surely get
his bread, not because he is his friend, but because he is so persistent.
Jesus told many stories, some of them showing us
the importance of prayer - and to be more specific; the importance of persistent prayer.
Never, never give up on prayer. If the Son of God
says keep on praying then it is exactly what we must do. We must keep on
praying for that child, for that spouse, for the business, for healing -
whatever our need may be...keep on praying.
